Hou Wailu born in Pingyao, Shanxi is China's early Marxist historians of the 20th century as the "new historians five" one in his efforts to study the academic history of the Qing Dynasty, has yielded fruitful results, the hard work of historians for more than 50 years in the field of the history of ideassignificant achievements, is a landmark figure in the development of Marxist historians.
